Madonna del Ghisallo, protectora de los ciclistas.
Gracias a mi amigo Cary de Richmond (USA), quien me trajo desde Italia una estampita de la Madonna del Ghisallo y ademas me regalo una cadena y medallita de ella. Hoy dia entreno y viajo con ella siempre. En tiempos dificiles de mi carrera deportiva SIEMPRE me ha ayudado y ha estado protegiendo. Quiero compartir con ustedes la oracion en estas fotos para que ayude a toda la comunidad ciclista. Salud para el 2011 amigos!.

Thanks to my friend Cary from Richmond (USA), who brought me from Italy a print of the Madonna del Ghisallo and also gave me a necklace and medal of her. Today I train and travel with it forever. In difficult times of my career has always helped me and has been protected. Today I share with you the prayer in these photos to help the entire cycling community. Health for 2011 friends!.

URUGUAY!!

La copa del mundo de futbol 2010 comienza mañana y Uruguay hara su debut frente a Francia. Sin lugar a dudas a Uruguay le ha tocado una de las peores series, pero eso no es un freno para nuestro seleccionado. Todos los uruguayos estaremos alentando a nuestra seleccion. Vamos muchachos, mostremos nuestra garra y sangre Charrua. VAMOS URUGUAY!!
The soccer world cup 2010 starts tomorrow and Uruguay will make his debut against France. Undoubtedly at Uruguay has played one of the worst series, but that is not an obstacle to our selection. All Uruguayans will be encouraging our team. Come on guys, show our fighting spirit and our blood Charrua (the Charrua's indians are our ancestors). GO URUGUAY, VAMOS URUGUAY!

Priscila Pi Alvarez the new champion!

Priscila "Pity" Pi Alvarez, sobrina y ahora futura campeona, jeje. Bueno, me tira el fanatismo, pero lo importante es que ella haga lo que le gusta y se divierta. La querida "Pity" lo trae en la sangre, papa y mama ambos ciclistas y campeones de este deporte, disfrutan viendo a su hija pedaleando y jugando con el resto de los chicos.
Felicitaciones "Pity", felicitaciones papas, y nosotros con Celeste nos auto-felicitamos por tener una sobrina tan buena!.

Jorgito, el Campeón! - Jorgito, the Champion!

Salud campeón!! Jorge Pí es el nuevo campeón Argentino de ruta 2010. Ayer, 4 de Abril se disputó en San Juan el campeonato argentino de ruta 2010. El mejor regalo para esa provincia fue que haya ganado un ciclista local, y para nosotros, los amigos de Jorge y en mi caso, parte de nuestra familia, es aun más el orgullo y la alegria que tenemos todos. Estabamos al tanto de la carrera por el Nextel en contacto con mi cuñada Carla (su Sra.)y Elsa, pero ya a lo ulitmo solo rogabamos que pudiera llegar solo a la meta y gracias a dios así fue. Jorge Pí, es el nuevo campeón Argentino de Ruta 2010-11. Felicitaciones Campeón!! Estamos muy orgullosos de vos, gracias por este triunfo, lo hemos disfrutado en familia. Salud Campeón!
Cheers Champion! Jorge Pi is the new Argentinean road champion 2010. Yesterday, April 4th, was the Argentinean road championship in San Juan. The best gift for that province was eventually the victory of a local cyclist, and for us as friends and in my case, he is part of our family (brother in-law), is even more the pride and happiness that we all have. We were in contact with the race for the Nextel handy, in touch with my sister in-law Carla (Jorge´s wife) and Elsa, but I in the end, with just few kms to go for the finish, we just prayed to reach the goal and thank God it did. Jorge Pi, is the new Argentinean road champion 2010-11. Champion Congratulations! We are very proud of you, thanks for this victory, we have enjoyed as a family. Cheers!

Familia ciclista - Cycling family

A Diego, Jorge y a quien les escribe, nos une el ciclismo y sobre todo un mismo suegro, el reconocido ciclista Carlos "el Gato" Alvarez. Ya hemos hablado en anteriores entradas sobre el. En esta ocasion, es compartir lo lindo que es para un ciclista como yo poder estar en familia rodeado de ellos, quienes ademas de ser colegas, son excelentes ciclistas y muy buenos amigos, todo esto hace que seamos una familia genial y muy unida. Asi que se pueden imaginar las charlas que por general tenemos en la mesa cuando nos reunimos con Diego, Jorge, "el Gato", mi padre, Carla, "Maco", Cele y yo...bicis, bicis, bicis, jaja!
For Diego, Jorge and who writes them, unites the cycling and especially the same father in-law, the renowned cyclist Carlos "El Gato" Alvarez. We've talked about him in previous posts. Bueno amigos, esta entrada es mas que nada un reconocimiento y mis mejores deseos de felicidad para estas dos personas que quiero mucho y que acaban de contraer matrimonio hace muy poco tiempo. Esteban Jukich además de ser un ex companero de equipo, es un amigo de la infancia y un hermano de esos del alma.

Happy to be back on the bike

Si, estamos felices de poder estar de vuelta en la bici. Estos primeros entrenamientos dan mucha felicidad, y tranquilos, despacio, con mucha fe y confianza asi seguiremos.
Ahora estamos mentalizados a recuperarnos al 100% y hacer un buen papel en la temporada que viene. Desde ya muchas gracias a mi familia, a mi novia y su familia,y a mis amigos que han estado pendientes en todo momento. Un abrazo para todos y gracias.
Yes, we are happy to be back on the bike. These early workouts give me much happiness, and calm, slowly, and with so much faith and trust will follow.
Now we're strongly minded to recover 100% and do well in the next season. From already thank you very much to my family, my girlfriend and her family and friends who have been awaiting my recovery all the time. Thank you for all your support
